we are monika and felix. our last names are unpronounceable, some would even go as far as to say they are impossible to spell. but that it a lie of course.
we have been working on some projects together and found that we collaborate quite well (monika thinks so at least). we are working in a similar way (whatever that way is) and we have the same working rhythm (we don’t know what rhythm, we think it has something to do with our coffee consumption, but we are not quite sure).
we don't like stressing. we like laughing.
we do what monika says (even she does).
we would love to work on projects that do not involve making paper. we had enough of this. we'd like to work with people not only for people. how, why and what we don’t know (as you might have guessed by now, we don't have answers to everything). we love books. reading, studying, designing and making them. we like typography, photography, screen-printing, letter-pressing, bookbinding, paper engineering and a lots more that involve making things by hand. both of us like helping people and would like to work in community projects.
monika thinks it is pretentious to pretend that since we just have graduated we are the next generation of designers that will solve all the world’s problems. and felix thinks so too. after all, felix has to agree with what monika says. we will do our bit though.
we are honest about who we are, we like what we do and we care about everything we do. Languages spoken: English | German | Siswati
